Let's get started with the my first spice blend, Cajun Seasoning. Getting this just right was one of the hardest things I've ever done, a little more of this, a little less of that, add this, it was the better part of two years before I was satisfied. Now, the fun begins, sprinkle on most anything and Zang it brings food to life. It's like love for food. For blackening fish and steaks, you will find nothing better. Call me crazy, why would I formulate a seasoned salt? I tried all the brand name salts, most had MSG and none hit the mark I wanted, hence "Doodles Seasoned Salt". It is Sin-Sational with a Zang for everythang. This is the only salt you will ever need, cookin salt, table salt, just plain fun salt. Dirty Rice is so good, so versatile and sooooo easy to make. You can use hamburger meat, ground chuck, ground turkey, crawfish, shrimp, chicken.....you get the picture. This is a staple at the dinner table, it's good with everything. Get yourself some bell peppers, cut the top off, seed, stuff with dirty rice, top with a little (or a lot) of sharp cheddar cheese sprinkle with Cajun Seasoning, pop in the oven till hot and cheese is melted, what you talking 'bout.
